This resource provides a theory of change for enhancing health worker behaviour and policy options for compassionate and respectful care (CRC). This includes a health labour market framework; rights, roles and responsibilities of the health workforce; quality of care approaches; framework to address determinants of compassionate and respectful care; interventions to improve health workforce performance in general; and specific policy levers for CRC.
